Direct trains run from London, and booking tickets in advance can often be cheaper. Trains can get particularly busy on sunny weekends so we recommend the 'fast train' via Ashford International, it makes fewer stops and in our experience is usually less busy.

Please check the arrival time and starting venue shown on your invitation before planning your journey.

There are plenty of places to stay in and around Margate, including hotels, guesthouses, apartments and Airbnb options. Everything is relatively close together, so anywhere in central Margate or Cliftonville will be convenient for the wedding venues. The neighbouring towns of Broadstairs, Westgate-on-Sea and Ramsgate are also only a short drive away and have plenty of accommodation options.
We recommend booking as soon as possible. Our wedding takes place on the same weekend as the wonderful Margate Pride, so accommodation is likely to fill up quickly.

The wedding finishes at 01:00.
Wedding transport will not be provided at the end of the evening, so please plan your journey home in advance. Margate and the surrounding towns are likely to be busy that weekend, so we strongly recommend pre-booking a taxi, particularly if you are staying in Broadstairs, Ramsgate or Westgate.

Turner Contemporary has step-free access.
Faith in Strangers is located on the first floor and is accessed by stairs. Unfortunately, there is no lift or dedicated accessible toilet.
There is an approximately 15-minute walk between Turner Contemporary and Faith in Strangers. Ceremony guests who may find this difficult should arrange a taxi between the venues in advance.
Please contact us in advance if you have any access requirements or concerns so that we can talk through the arrangements with you.
