Turner Contemporary is the ceremony venue for guests invited to the ceremony. Faith in Strangers is the reception and evening venue. Your invitation confirms where you should join
We’re very excited that our wedding falls on the same day as Margate Pride. The town is likely to be especially busy, so we recommend booking restaurants and taxis in advance and allowing a little extra time when travelling around.
The Pride parade will be making its way along the seafront during the afternoon, so guests joining us for the ceremony should also allow a little extra time getting to Turner Contemporary.
Dinner will not be served during the evening reception, so please arrive having eaten. Late-night snacks will be available later.
The wedding will finish at 01:00. Please arrange your journey home in advance. We strongly recommend booking taxis ahead, particularly if staying outside central Margate.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE ?
We'd love for you to dress up with us! For ceremony guests, there will be a 10-15 minute walk from Turner Contemporary to Faith in Strangers so please factor this in to footwear choices!
SHOULD WE BRING A GIFT ?
Your presence is more than enough. We would, however, love to read a few words from our favourite people. There will be a small box for cards at the reception.
CAN CHILDREN COME TO THE WEDDING ?
We love your little ones, but with the exception of immediate family and any babes in arms, there will be no children at our wedding. We hope the advance notice means you’ll still be able to celebrate with us.
CAN I BRING A PLUS - ONE ?
Please only bring the guest or guests named in the invitation message you received. We have carefully planned our numbers, so unfortunately we’re unable to accommodate additional guests unless they have been specifically included in your invitation.
